Meh.

This has ninjas and zombies.
What's not to love, right?
While I can't outright say there's anything I HATE about the game, you didn't really do much to grab anybody's attention for more than a couple of seconds. The graphics, the gameplay, no story, no sound effects, no music, it just feels very... broken. I'm not saying this to be mean because really, it's not horrible. It's just not great, either. The upgrade system is a nice touch, I suppose. I'll give you props for that. Sorry mate.

Love it, man.

This was a really good game. I totally got hooked on the story, and the graphics were pretty slick. The gameplay was surprisingly good for being a turn-based RPG. The battles were all good. People who are complaining about the boss fights being too hard are pansies. You just need to use the right spec for your class, and be wearing the right equipment to get the stat bonuses necessary to overpower the enemy. It's not tough if you use your head a bit. Overall, it's a really good game. My only real complaint is that you didn't upload the whole game and I got really into the story and then, suddenly, I had to wait for the next installment. Please hurry as best as you can with the next game. I'd love to see more from this series. Keep it up.

Simple, addictive fun.

I really liked the art style you chose for the game. It's got a bit of a cyberpunk feel to it, which is really cool, and the difficulty scales pretty well as you continue, giving you a reason to try to keep playing. The music was good at well. The gameplay wasn't really much to write home about, but there's something to be said for keeping it simple. You implemented the gravity fairly well too. Overall, I liked the game. It's got style. I'd like to see more stuff from you with a similar artistic direction, but maybe a different sort of gameplay. A shooter, perhaps?

Superb!

I enjoy all of your games, and your ability to experiment with storytelling and gameplay. Mind you, as I see it, the way you made Coil, it's more of an interactive story than a game, but the story is very, very good. The music suits the mood of the game perfectly, and the individual levels were entertaining to figure out. A couple of them took me a while, but that's quite alright. I spent a good twenty minutes playing, and attempting to figure out how to progress to the next spot. Does this fit into the Badlands universe in any way or is this just a little something on the side? At any rate, this was an excellent game and I would like to see where you could take something like this if you were to keep on producing Flashes in this style. Keep it up mate.

I like it!

It doesn't bring much new to the zombie genre, but then again, if you execute something this well, innovation doesn't really need to factor in. I've already signed up for the email list for the Dead Frontier MMO. I've played all three of your mini games and they've gotten progressively better. I can only imagine how great the actual game is going to be, as well as what kind of stories will unfold within the quest system. I'm totally looking forward to attempting to survive against the zombie hordes with my friends online.
I really can't complain about anything here. I liked the graphics, the engine, the controls, the added companion characters, the sense of urgency you managed to convey, the enemies were well done, and the last boss was damn chaotic with that timer going.
Good work, man.
Keep it up, please.

Beautiful.

I have to say, Zeebarf, man, I missed you when Sons of Butcher stopped.

Which is why I was really excited to play this, and what do you know? It's a fun game/interactive movie/horror/thing.

I really liked it, man, and while a direct sequel might be cool, I think what you should do is maybe try doing this same thing with other genres.

Can we expect some sort of zombie survival/horror adventure in the near future?

Or maybe some SoB-themed love?

Good stuff, man, good stuff.

Nice, man, nice.

This was a pretty friggin' sweet game. Everything about it was just so mind-blowingly awesome that I had to keep on playing it. I've been at it for an hour now, I think, and it still hasn't lost its fun. I'm looking forward to the sequel. I'm pretty sure if it's any more stylish than this game was, my head might explode.

I will not be held accountable for that, either.

Amazing. Simply amazing.

That was so beautiful.

I started playing thinking it was just going to be a generic platformer but I got really hooked on the style of the game. The sense of humor is twisted and wonderful.

The levels are designed great.

They're about as confusing as they should be, considering all the pills that little guy's picking up.

It gets you almost as confused as the main character by the end of it.

And the ending...

Wow.

My only complaint here is that the game was just way too short.

I mean, my God.

I think I love you.

HeRetiK responds:

I think I love you too.

Wow.

Oh my god.

This was beautiful.

I loved every minute of it.

It was so terribly amazing to play.

I was so surprised to see this was your first submission.

I'm looking forward to more work from you guys.

Wow...

That was pretty beautiful.

I'm surpised how much I enjoyed this.

It can get slightly frustrating at times with all the spikes everywhere, but that's the nature of a platformer.

The sounds were deliciously weird, and the song playing in the background was beautiful.

I liked the art style quite a bit, too.

Good job.
